Anyone interested in becoming a GRL new member may participate in recruitment events. Recruitment is held twice a year at the beginning of the semester. These events are meant for members to get to know recruits and are open to anyone, including friends and family of potential new members who do not intend to join. If you decide at the end of recruitment to join us this semester, you are required to attend the Bid Dinner and the Induction ceremony (if invited to join).
Before attending the Bid Dinner and to be considered for membership, it is highly recommended that every potential new member have a one-on-one informational meeting with one of our active members.
If accepted into the sorority, it is on a trial basis as a new member. New members spend the remaining semester attending education classes to learn about Greek Life and the sorority. At the end of their education period, if accepted into the sorority, new members become full members.
